Do I Need to Have a Bridal Party?

This question is not a new one. Many brides to be who want a small, intimate gathering at their wedding also want the same for a wedding party.

The answer is No. Don't feel obligated to have a large party or a party at all. However, some states require that a witness sign the marriage certificate. So, at the very least, you should have a best man and a maid-of-honor.
